The Turn At, operated by The Turn AT LLC. This policy explains what personal information the app collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and what rights you have. Contact: support@theturnat.co.
The Turn At is a private neighborhood platform for residents of The Landings on Skidaway Island, Georgia. It is operated by The Turn AT LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. Membership is invitation-only and requires approval. The app is free for residents.
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password. You may also choose to upload a profile photo. Your email is verified by a one-time code before your account is activated.
You may create or log in to your account using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. When you do, the respective provider authenticates you and passes an identity token to our servers. We receive only what that provider sends (typically a name and email). We do not receive your social media passwords.
Location permission is optional. If you decline, Rangefinder will open centered on The Landings and Marshall will not function.
We request access to your camera, microphone, and photo library so you can capture and upload photos or videos to your profile, forum posts, gig ads, or chat messages. We do not record audio or video without your active initiation.
We collect the content you create in the app, including forum posts and comments, group posts and messages, gig and classified ad listings (including a contact phone number you provide), private chat messages and any images you share in chat, reviews you write about vendors, and reports you submit about content you believe violates our guidelines.
If you save locations using the Rangefinder, those coordinates are stored on our servers linked to your account.
When you grant notification permission, we collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token and associate it with your account. This token is used only to deliver push notifications to your device. You can adjust notification preferences (messages, forum posts, reviews) in the app settings.
When you contact us through the app's Contact Us screen, we collect the message you submit.
Our servers keep operational logs of requests made to the service so we can run it and keep it secure. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not track your activity for advertising.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising.
Your profile name and photo are visible to other approved residents. Content you post publicly (forum, groups, reviews, gig ads) is visible to other residents of your neighborhood. Private chat messages are visible only to the participants in that conversation.
If you initiate a chat with a vendor or post a gig ad that a vendor responds to, that vendor will see the information you share in that interaction. Vendor profiles and reviews are visible to all residents.

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7). When you delete your account, your profile and the content associated with it are removed from active use.
