By creating an account or using The Turn At app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and The Turn AT LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we," "us," or "The Turn AT").
The Turn At is a private platform for approved residents of The Landings on Skidaway Island, Georgia. Membership is by invitation and requires approval. We may decline or revoke membership at our discretion.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@theturnat.co if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it updated. Providing false information, including misrepresenting your residence status, is grounds for account termination.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Membership and use of The Turn At is free of charge for residents. There are no fees of any kind for any feature described in these Terms. The app does not collect money from residents.
You retain ownership of content you post in the app (forum posts, group posts, chat messages, gig ads, reviews, photos). By posting content, you grant The Turn AT LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Objectionable content and the users who post it will be removed. We may remove any such content and suspend or terminate the responsible account without notice.
Any resident may report content they believe violates these Terms using the in-app reporting tool.
The neighborhood forum and groups are spaces for residents to connect, share information, and build community. You are responsible for what you post. We do not pre-screen posts but may remove content or restrict posting privileges if we determine that content violates these Terms.
Residents may post gig listings and classified ads for community services (babysitting, pet sitting, lawn care, tutoring, errands, and similar local services) and lost-and-found items. These listings are free to post.
When you post a gig listing, you agree to include only accurate information, including a valid contact phone number. We are not a party to any transaction, agreement, or arrangement between residents that originates from a listing. All arrangements made through the gig board are solely between the parties involved. We make no representations about the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered.
The app includes a directory of local service providers ("vendors"). Residents may view vendor profiles and leave written reviews. Reviews must be honest and reflect your genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are false, defamatory, or otherwise violate these Terms.
We do not endorse any vendor. Engaging a vendor is at your own risk.
The Marshall feature allows residents to share live GPS location with linked family members within the neighborhood. Participation is voluntary and requires your active consent (scanning a QR code or accepting a link invitation).
You acknowledge that:
You are responsible for obtaining the consent of any person whose location you choose to monitor through this feature, including any minor family member.
The Rangefinder is an in-app navigation tool powered by the Google Maps Platform. It uses your device's GPS location to center the map and provide routing. By using Rangefinder, your location and search queries are transmitted to Google's servers under Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Google's data practices.
You may block any other resident using the in-app block feature. A blocked user cannot send you messages, and their content will not appear in your feeds. You may unblock a user at any time. You may also report content or profiles you believe violate these Terms using the in-app report tool.
The Turn At app, its design, graphics, and underlying code are the property of The Turn AT LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.
The app integrates Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and the Google Maps Platform. Your use of those services is subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those providers.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TURN AT LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TURN AT LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Turn AT LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time using the account deletion option in the app.
Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately. Sections 5.1 (license grant for existing content), 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 20 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chatham County, Georgia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance.
