The Turn At is the app for residents of The Landings on Skidaway Island.
The Turn At Vendor is the app for local businesses that work in the community. This
page covers both.
Getting started
- Sign up with your email, or tap Continue With Google or
Continue With Apple.
- If you sign up with email, we'll send you a 6-digit code to confirm
your email address.
- A community admin reviews every new account before it's active. Until then you'll see
Account Pending Approval in The Turn At, or Waiting for Approval
in The Turn At Vendor. We'll let you know when you're approved, or you can tap
Check Status.
Signing in
- Forgot your password? On the first screen, tap
Sign In With Password. Then tap Forgot Password? and enter your
email. We'll email you a 6-digit code. Enter it in the app, then
choose a new password.
- Codes expire after one hour, and stop working after 5 wrong tries.
- Need a new code? Tap Didn't get a code, or go back one screen and
request the code again. Only the newest code works.
- Can't find the email? Check your spam or junk folder.
- If you signed up with Google or Apple, sign in the same way each time: tap
Continue With Google or Continue With Apple.
Deleting your account
- In either app: open the menu (☰) at the top left and tap
Profile Settings. Tap Delete Account at the bottom, then
Yes.
- Still waiting for approval? Tap Delete Account at the bottom of
the waiting screen.
- Can't sign in? Email support@theturnat.co
from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.
Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, comments, listings and reviews. It can't be undone.
Deleting a vendor account also takes down its ads. If you're still charged for ads after that,
email us.
Reporting and blocking
In The Turn At:
- Report a post or comment: open the post and tap the flag icon on the post or
comment. Pick a reason, then tap Submit report.
- Report a message: press and hold the message, then tap Report.
- Report a person: tap their name or photo to open their profile, then tap
Report user.
- Block a neighbor: on their profile, tap Block user. You won't see
their posts, and you won't be able to message each other. To undo it, go to
Profile Settings > Blocked Users.
In The Turn At Vendor, press and hold a message to report it, or tap the block icon at the top right of
a chat to block that person.
Reports go to our team for review. If someone is in danger, call 911.
