Vendor Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 19, 2026

This policy applies to the The Turn At Vendor app, operated by The Turn AT LLC. It explains what personal information the Vendor App collects from local businesses, how it is used, who it is shared with, and what rights you have. Contact: support@theturnat.co.

1. Who We Are

The Turn AT LLC ("The Turn At," "we," "us," or "our") operates The Turn At platform, a neighborhood directory and advertising service for The Landings community on Skidaway Island, Georgia. This policy applies to the Vendor App used by local businesses that create listings, place ads, and communicate with residents.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your display name, email address, and a password. You may also sign in using Google or Sign in with Apple, in which case we receive an authentication token from that provider and do not receive your full Google or Apple account credentials.

2.2 Business Profile Information

After registration, you provide your business name, business description, years of experience, phone number, and optionally a website URL. You may also upload a profile photo and business documents such as a license or proof of insurance.

2.3 Advertising Content

When you create an ad, we collect the ad headline, description, call-to-action text, optional sale pricing labels, up to four ad images, your selected display section and category, annual revenue tier (used only to determine your pricing bracket), and billing cycle preference.

2.4 Payment Information

You pay on a secure Stripe-hosted web page in your browser, reached through a link we email you — not inside the app. Your card number, CVV, and expiry are entered on Stripe's page and sent directly to Stripe; they are never stored on or transmitted through The Turn At servers. We store and process only the Stripe payment method identifier, your subscription status and billing cycle (including automatic renewal at the end of each period), and your transaction history.

2.5 Messages and Media

We store text messages and images you send to and receive from residents through the in-app messenger. Message reactions and read/delivered status are also stored.

2.6 Camera and Photo Library

With your permission, we access your camera and photo library so you can capture or choose images for your business profile, ads, documents, and chat messages. We access only the images you select or capture for these purposes.

2.7 Device Information

We collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token when you grant notification permission. This token is used only to deliver push notifications to your device.

2.8 Location

The Vendor App does not access your device's location.

2.9 Notification Preferences

We store your in-app notification settings (for example, whether you have enabled alerts for new messages or new reviews).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Create and maintain your vendor account
  • Display your business profile and ads to residents within The Landings community
  • Process subscription and boost payments through Stripe
  • Deliver push notifications about new messages, ad status changes, and reviews
  • Enable real-time messaging between you and residents
  • Review and approve your account and ad submissions before they go live
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions and comply with applicable law

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Residents and Administrators

Your business name, description, contact information, ad content, and profile photo are displayed to residents and administrators within The Landings community platform. This is the core purpose of the service.

4.2 Third-Party Service Providers

Provider Purpose Data Shared
Stripe (stripe.com/privacy) Payment processing on Stripe's hosted web page Card details (entered directly on Stripe), billing contact, subscription data
Firebase / Google (policies.google.com/privacy) Push notifications Device push token
Google (Sign-In) Optional authentication Google identity token; Google authenticates the session
Apple (Sign in with Apple) Optional authentication Apple identity token; Apple authenticates the session

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Turn At, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and business profile for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records. Payment transaction records may be retained longer as required by applicable financial regulations. Messages may be retained for a period after deletion to allow the other party to view them during the transition window.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Account deletion. You may delete your account at any time through the app. This removes your profile, listings, and personal information from our active systems.
  • Notification controls. You can adjust which push notifications you receive through the Notification Settings screen in the app.
  • Camera and photo library. You can revoke these permissions at any time through iOS Settings. Ad and profile image features will not function without photo library access.
  • Data access or correction. To request a copy of your data or to correct inaccurate information, contact us at support@theturnat.co.

7. Children's Privacy

The Vendor App is intended for use by businesses and their adult representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at support@theturnat.co and we will delete the account.

8. Security

We protect your information using HTTPS for data in transit and restrict server access to authorized personnel. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never transmitted through or stored on our servers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Services

The app relies on the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the Vendor App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
